กพช. ครั้งที่ 177 (18 ก.ย. 2569) มีนายเอกนิติ นิติทัณฑ์ประภาศ เป็นประธาน เห็นชอบขยายโครงการโซลาร์ภาคประชาชนเป็น 10,000 MW รับซื้อไฟส่วนเกิน 2.20 บาท/หน่วยแบบ Net Billing สัญญา 20 ปี ขายได้ไม่เกิน 5 kW ต่อมิเตอร์ ติดตั้งได้บนหลังคา พื้นดิน และผิวน้ำ ครอบคลุมปี 2569-2571 มอบหมายให้เตรียมโครงข่าย สมาร์ตมิเตอร์ และระบบกักเก็บพลังงานให้พร้อมภายใน 1 เดือน และให้ กกพ. ออกระเบียบพร้อมลดขั้นตอนเป็น One Stop ServiceThe National Energy Policy Council approved an expansion of the household solar programme to 10,000 MW, buying surplus power at THB 2.20 per unit on a net billing basis under 20-year contracts.

Applications filed by 30 December may be backdated.
